LATE NIGHT LIBRARY CLUB PRESENTS…
The Line of Beauty by Alan Hollinghurst
7PM - 1.30AM
at the National Trust's Sutton House
*special guest Alan Hollinghurst - in discussion*
Starkers debuts at the respectfully raucous club night for book worms. This time, Late Night Library Club brings 1980s London to life with all its hypocrisy, homosexuality, madness and privilege - great fodder for our life drawing tableaux. Dress-up is highly encouraged, so get suited and booted for the hottest (library) ticket in town.
Part of LNLC's Queer Stories in Britain series, to mark the 50th anniversary of the partial decriminilisation of male homosexuality (The Sexual Offences Act). Late Night Library Club is a literary-themed East London club night that adds a touch of trash and a splash of camp to your usual booze-or-moth-fuelled monthly book club. With performances, interaction, drinking and dancing.
